Steele is gaining?

I do a number of interviews each week on the election (stop laughing!). Sometimes you learn more from a reporter than he learns from you. This reporter (no Republican) claimed that Steele may end up winning in Maryland. He thinks that Cardin has started to bore people and their lack of enthusiasm for him has become palpable. And note who just endorsed Steele.

There may simply be too many Democrats in Maryland for Steele to win. That said, he may have a 1 in 3 chance. Win or lose, I do think Steele will get slightly more votes than Kean in NJ, an unimpressive candidate who would probably add nothing to the Senate except a Republican vote perhaps half the time.
I agree with DF, Steele has run a fine race and might well win any year but this one. Kean has no chance. Allen is now about 1 in 3 himself and fading. So the Republicans have to win both MO and TN to hold on. TN seems very possible because of Fords high unfavorable ratings. Michael J. Fox might really, truly have determined who organizes the Senate; he may helped the Ds just enough.
