Here is a bit of unnerving news from Sky News (UK), via Drudge: "Traces of radiation have been detected at 12 locations by experts probing the death of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko.
Home Secretary John Reid revealed 24 unnamed locations have been or are currently being monitored, including two British Airways panes." Read on.

Oh, I suspect we havent seen anything yet. Russia is leaking sub-weapons-grade radioactive materials like a rusty bucket. Some day this may result in a nice 20 kiloton crater in mid-town Manhattan...I wonder how long it will take them to create yet another PC museum to honor those victims.

source, with information, referenced on slashdot. I keep reading about Litvinenko being poisoned by a "massive dose" of polonium 210, but this type of description is also out there indicating a salt crystal-size quantity is deadly.
