Allan Blooms big book 20 years later

Our friend Patrick Deneen has been busy, organizing (among other things) this March event (scroll down). You can also read a few things about Blooms book here.
Kudos to our friends at ISI for putting this on-line. Now they just have to make it easier to find on their site.

Thanks for the reminder on the March panel at Georgetown Joe. For those interested, if you can get a hold of Harry Jaffas biting, and I think accurate review of the Bloom book, it is well worth it. Also, Tom West of U Dallas did a bit of a reprisal of its themes a few years ago and is likely on the Claremont Institute web site.
Robert L. Stone collected a group of reviews and essays, including Jaffas in his 1989 book, titled (straightforwardly enough) "Essays on the Closing of the American Mind." Its still available on Amazon and other such sites for $5 to $6 dollars, last time I looked. (Which was about two minutes ago).
