Tribe and Obama on Constitutonal Interpretation as Weird Science

...The Constitution is much more complicated--not to mention "physical"--than we thought. (Thanks again to Ivan the K.)

That really seems to take seriously the metaphysical language of "penumbras and emanations".

Echoes of Woodrow Wilson’s idea that while the Founders thought in Newtonian terms, the Progressives would have to think in Darwinian ones. Actually, scratch "echoes" and just say, the same old crap, eaten and regurgiatated by the same old dog, returning to the same old vomit. Because, despite the big ideas and the big-wig provenance, that’s what it is. Hail Harvard. Like everybody else, I like Obama, and am almost embarrassed for him being led astray so perposterously by Tribe, but things like this suggest that if elected he will do us more damage than Hilary would.

Whatever this article may tell us about Tribe’s views, I doubt we learn anything about Obama’s. He likely provided research assistance, which shouldn’t be taken to mean agreement. Indeed, there’s some evidence that, while at Harvard, Obama was very good at "subordinating" his own views to those of the person he was assisting.

I’ve posted about this before.

Fair enough, I’m happy to be reminded of that, Joe. But as for Tribe, and as for the fact that it’s folks like him who rule our law-schools, grrr...

Hussein was Editor of Harvard Law Review, and rest assured, he didn’t get that gig by being a closet originalist. He’s not being led astray by Tribe, he wholly subscribes to that interpretive prism.

The Constitution was intended, in fact was written in such a manner, to be clearly understood by the common man. It was the exact opposite of what the European elites have done with their new EU Constitution, which is a document of the elites, by the elites and for the elites.

Tribe and Obama aren’t just Constitutionally wrong, they’re also historically in error. They’re REVERSING what the founders intended; they know it, and that’s what they want.

It isn’t Hussein’s assistance in the formulation of this piece that’s revealing. It’s his entire career.

We in the non-Oprah world are still waiting for Hussein to demonstrate that there’s some there, there.

What can one expect? Crackhead Barack Hussein Obama was accepted in Columbia and Harvard on affirmative action, not academic merit. What is really sad about all this is that some more qualified candidate was turned down so that a degenerate like Crackhead Obama could go in his place.

Allen, may I suggest that your remarks fail to elevate the level of discourse? May I further point out that I’m understating in a really big way?
