But how could a resolution acknowledging the importance of Christmas attract some no votes, while similar resolutions acknowledging Ramadan and Diwali passed unanimously (albeit with a number of Republicans voting "present" in both cases)?

What does the Christian bill have that the others don't? Perhaps some folks didn't like the bow to the Christian nation crowd?
Could be that some folks didn't like the fact that King abstained from the other bills, or could be that people just don't like him. He's kind of a nutter.
