My distaste for the blatant radical partisanism of WaPo finally caused me to cancel my subscription about a year ago. I confess though to look at it on-line, and for months now I have noticed that Cilizza is a singular exception to the dreary juvenile scratching of WaPo analyists. Cilizza as far as I can tell is no conservative; but he is a fresh, balanced, and fair journalist and usually worth reading.

My prediction: either the Post's other writers begin to imitate his objectivity, or -- more likely -- he will accept better pay and higher status at some other paper or possibly TV. I have seen him once with Lehrer during the GOP convention.
