CBS News interviews Mark Penn, the strategist for both Clintons. Worth a read and note the comment on why the press has lost credibility and therefore will not able to influence this election.

I must admit, it sort of worries me that a Democrat has that degree of insight into their problems. I'd prefer that they all remain totally oblivious.
But I'm confident that the other morons will be too stupid to take it in.
Let's not get overconfident. The media always influence elections. And voters need not like them to believe them.
