Supermajority, or, unchecked left-wing ascendancy

Perhaps we can persuade America that if the MUST vote for Obama, then they must also all vote for Republicans to the Senate and the Legislature. Maybe we can persuade the vast undecided middle that what they really liked about Clinton was the divided government that made him govern more conservatively.
Honestly, and to sorrow, lots of Americans want most of those things promised in that article. Socialism does not look like a threat, but as panacea and our media tells them they would be stupid not to take vast "blankey" of government that the Democrats offer.
When the American Dream has become things like universal health care and a government guaranteed mortgage, something wonderful of independence has been lost.
