NLT on the Road
Posted by Steven Hayward
Geez, it seems like most of the NLT team is on the road right now. I’m presently in Munich, Germany, as a guest of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, studying German energy and climate policy for whatever lessons it may have for the U.S. At least I get a visit to BMW headquarters. I’m hoping for some test drives.

Ah yes - BMW. Now there's an inspiring example of free enterprise. They really knew how to keep those labor costs down. And like any good family business, they passed the resulting wealth onto their kids. If you know German, you can watch a documentary here to see just how they did it.
Sounds to me like Steve hit on the perfect cover for hitting the local bierkellers and hofbraus.
Damnit Dan, you're on to me. In fact I just got back from a convivial dinner at Spatenhaus, a beer hall near the town square.
And I'm glad I can keep Craig busy and off the streets.
Coming up with ways to convince the proles that they must pay the carbon tax eh? That dangerous CO2 will kill us all if the plants don't breath it first.
