Bobby Jindall

Newsweek thinks that Jindall may become GOP’s Obama (whatever that means, but there is plenty of room for re-creation and re-invention). Still, worth reading.

I love this line. Discussing whether Jindal's conversion to (very, very devout) Catholicism was motivated by a desire to make himself more electable, Jindal says this:
"If I wanted the aesthetics without the inconvenient morality," he wrote in 1998, "I could become Episcopalian."
It is a funny line and it has some sad truth to it, but it is not really polite or politic.
