By "conversation", he means "I talk and you listen". We have known that for a long time, though; no later than the convention that nominated him, during which time his wife was bragging about how he treats people with dignity and respect, even if they disagree with him, while his campaign was launching a smear attack on Stanley Kurtz, trying keep him off the radio in Chicago.
Ignore what they say, notice what they do.
