This is too good to be true. The Hiker gets this wrong, too: "Rand's essential truth—government doesn't know best." Her willful notion of the truth is atheism, which means that she of all human beings is God, as she is the most self-conscious of all. Being devoted to oneself is a bipartisan vice.
