Washington Post recently saw fit to censor Kenneth Cuccinelli, now the Attorney General elect of Virginia, for believing that there is such a thing as natural law. Father forgive them, for they know not what they do, I suggest in a

Progressives don't dare concede on the point of natural law because that suggests limits on their desires and rule.
I like C.S. Lewis's argument in the first chapter of "Mere Christianity" -- that is, that all arguments are an appeal to a higher authority. Liberals don't have a coherent answer to that. An answer yes; coherent, no.
I don't read the Post as attacking him because he believes in natural law. They attack him because he wishes to enact his views on natural law (despite being shared by many, many others) in his state's courtrooms.
Is this not a significant difference?
