Posted in Politics by Steven Hayward
Our pals over at ReasonTV have posted
this fabulous video parody of the UPS ad campaign to illustrate the union thuggishness directed at FedEx right now. Nice work Nick!

Hilarious cartoon, and very handy at getting the point across that coercion like oxygen to unions, and thus for them to work (using the term very loosely) they always have to coopt government -- either to apply force directly on union targets, or to exercise friendly neglect about private violence by unions.
But at least UPS actually performs a service, however artificially expensively. The next cartoon should be about how most government employees are unionized, in addition to *already* having their sinecures assured through "merit-protection" civil service laws -- thereby multiplying geometrically the (taxpayer's) cost of doing little, badly, indefinitely.
