And other worthy California pols? At the very least, this
former Clarence Thomas clerk would write a most persuasive brief.

As a current student at Chapman Law and a student in his clinic, I can say that the state I've lived in my whole life--California--needs elected officials of his quality. Our state has a crisis of leadership, and I cannot imagine someone who is better qualified to fulfill the duties of Attorney General.
Given that I was John's roommate in graduate school for three years back in the 1980s, the opposition research people are *definitely* going to want to talk to me!
Oppo research? I would have presumed that as part of the vetting process he had been under private eye surveillance for the longest time--maybe even when he was a private citizen.
Perhaps especially then.
Are you lobbying to become his spokesman? What is a crisis of leadership other than a stupid buzz phrase. What is he going to do to change the course, what action. I see nothing in the piece about arresting the criminals in power or anything that leads me to believe this guy would. with that said, seems like a decent guy...good luck. This country needs California to do well.
