Capital of the Free World

This from Joe Biden is too clear for me to comment on. It is jarring. It is beyond humor, it is too revealing of a deep lack of understanding of freedom, the things for which Brussels stands, and the things for which we stand. I am disposed to swear a good mouth filling oath...I will ride Isabella today, hoping for contentment in the heat.

I hope someone, somewhere is saving video of this remark for campaign ads in 2012!
I'm remarkably unsurprised that our progressive VP would look to statist, pacifist, utopian Europe for his vision of a capital of the (one) world. I'm very disturbed, just not surprised.
In response to an e-mail: Isabella is my motorcycle. Because I hope to have many references to her in the coming months, I'd rather not be misunderstood. I might as well mention that Clarence is my "car" (Hummer); after Clarence Frog Man Henry.
sounds like the new world order to me.
A good ride on a motorcycle will clear the mind ... that is for certain. For me, it has to be at least 2 hours. Anything less doesn't do the trick.
When finished? A cigar and a glass of red wine. Or a glass of very hoppy beer.
I think you are right. Anything under two hours seems hurried and harried. In the summer it's a cigar with beer (with squeezed lemon); refreshing.
