Islam and the West: Art Lessons

A provocative question for our times (and for quite some time): How does Islam fit into western civilization? There is the view of Raphael's
"School of Athens," where Averroes (far left) sits among other great philosophers, and then there's
this view, in a poster announcing a talk by a friend of mine. Dante has a similar opinion of Islam.
