It comes as no surprise that Charlie Rangel is blaming everyone but the devil himself for his recent censure. While admitting that the House veteran is full of rage toward his assailers, the WaPo also paints Rangel as genuinely hurt and saddened by the ordeal. But it is far from clear that any of this grief is related to his own misconduct - rather than arising solely from his antipathy toward those who aired his dirty laundry.
Don't you wonder what he knows about others in the House, both past and present? Their un-aired dirty laundry might be what is causing him the most distress. He can't tell how much his stinks with the air of theirs still in his nostrils.
The left does happy dances when Tom Delay gets thrown into prison, but remains loudly silent on Charlie Rangel.
The left is not about justice, fairness and rule of law. It is about getting their way no matter what the outcome. It is really called "a four year old temper fit".
