34 years ago today, in a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars hit the silver screen.
Just for perspective, I was 3 months old.

More perspective: I saw it at the drive-in theater and arrived in footed pajamas.
Even more perspective: I didn't have a chance to see it on the silver screen until the 1997 re-release.
