Killing cats

Boy feeds cat to alligator, now has criminal record, plus community service, etc. Does anyone other than me think this is a bit steep? After all, it wasn’t a dog, it was a cat. Hasn’t anyone read Kipling’s "The cat that walked by himself?" This is more like it, a young dog receives $1,500 Master Card from bank.

I guess I would have felt better if the alligator did all the physical damage to the cat versus the beating it suffered from the 14 year old....
He shouldn’t only remain on his medication, he should probably UP it.
Junior sounds like a vicious little bugger. Aside from the obvious, the SOB did it to somebody else’s cat.
If he tries that with one of MY cats he’ll need a very wide variety of medical services indeed, most of them not related to psychiatry.
