Bremer and the poem
Posted by Peter W. Schramm
This Iraqi blogger wrote about the celebrations they had at the hospital upon hearing that sovereignty had been turned over. They had cake (click on the photos) and then listened to Al Jazeera while Bremer gave a short good-by speech, which he ended with a famous poem, in Arabic. Quite moving. (Thanks to Luke Florer)

Youre quite welcome. I too was moved.
All the donors listed on that blog have American names. And the list of featured blogs at that site are all well known right wing blogs from the US.
Well, if you must know I found the link to the blog on dear_raed.blogspot.com, which I found linked on the "conservative" Warblogging.com a little over a year ago.
It is obvious (from reading his blog) that his views are mirrored by the "pro-war" here in the U.S. (whether conservative or liberal), therefore it is no surprise that he would link to such as would be linked to on these sites, or be supported (hosting fees?).
If you want some pessimistic views from Iraq, I suggest:

None of these have yet deigned to comment on the hand-over.
Raed in the Middle does provide brilliant, accurate comment.
