Daschle and the bloggers

Hugh Hewitt explains that because of bloggers in South Dakota, Tom Daschle will find it a lot more difficult to sell himself to the voters as a moderate. For example, the Argus Leader, a pro-Demo paper, has run nothing about Daschles hug of Michael Moore, but the bloggers are all over it. Hewitt thinks bloggers will have an impact; he links to a few.

While I dont care much for Daschle, to put it mildly, I am inclined to believe him when he says the hug never happened. I dont exactly trust Michael Moores account of anything. His account was recorded in Time and recounted here https://www.rapidcityjournal.com/articles/2004/07/09/news/local/news05.txt
It would not suprise me to find out, however, that Daschle is just hiding the hug from South Dakotans.
