Bush is ahead 53-41 among men, and 49-46 among women (Gore carried women by 11 points in 2000). 59% approve the way Bush is handling war on terror, 38% disapprove. On Iraq 47% approve, 50% disapprove. But 53% say they trust Bush more to handle the situation in Iraq, and 40% say they dont; 53% say that Bush has a clear plan to handle Iraq, 44% say he doesnt. 58% have a favorable view of Bush, 38% dont.
