A little Georgia politics

This column helps explain why we Georgians are seeing more of the President now than we did in 2004. Several of my students are going down to Perry, Georgia, home of the Georgia National Fairgrounds and pretty darn close to Gov. Sonny Perdue’s hometown of Bonaire, to see President Bush at a rally for Mac Collins.

For what it’s worth, I think that Max Burns is likelier to retake his old seat than Mac Collins is to take Jim Marshall’s.
