The crosses they bear

In an odd reenactment of last year’s vandalism at Northern Kentucky University, someone seems to have stolen the crosses set up by the Georgia Tech College Republicans to recognize the 34th anniversary of Roe. Here’s the AJC account.

It is worth considering the now-huge demographic consequences of Roe v Wade, even if 1.4 million abortions/yr x34 is an overestimate. As far as I know, abortions are not reportable. But even if the true total is closer to 30 than 48 million, the US population today would total 330 instead of 300 million.Without the Roe decision, surely fewer pregnancies would have occurred; say maybe 10 million. Think of the positive impact on Social Security finances these millions of young adult American workers would have, for example. With them alive, would there be work for the 12-20 million illegal immigrants we now can’t do without, who will over time cause serious American social change? The number of abortions and the number of illegal (whoops-undocumented) immigrants are of the same order of magnitude. Is this just a coincidence?

The inescapable conclusion is these millions of deaths are truly a crime "against humanity". Thank you, SCOTUS.
