...on May 8. This year it’s the philosopher of manliness; last year it was the novelist of manliness, Tom Wolfe, who talked about "the human beast." Harvey’s topic will be what the humanities can teach science about "How to Understand Politics."
Im available for 2008, when my first book will be published if anyone at NEH is listening:) Mansfield is a good choice too.
Mansfield is not a conservative. Hes a neocon; he studied under Strauss. And like the rest of the neocons, hes a left-winger in disguise.
2: Mansfield a "left-winger in disguise"??? David, why dont you take your ignorance somewhere else. If you cant understand fundamental political distinctions, spare us your cheap name-calling. Go to the childrens table.
David is right. Mansfield like all the neocons is a left-wing in sheeps clothing. If you want to see some real conservatives, read Chronicles Magazine.
4: Please give us some evidence that Mansfield is "left-wing." I dont think you can.
