P.C. Prize? Oh, I get it. So clever.

I suppose this "P.C Prize" stuff can be traced to the rock solid, a priori conviction on the part of some conservatives that global warming, per se, is nonsense: that is it not happening and that, if it is happening, then as a matter of policy nothing ought to be done about it.

Fox News was reporting yesterday that the British Courts rejected his documentary as a falsehood...that he stretched the truth and therefore it can't be used in schools.

Agored owns fours houses, drives gas-guzzling SUV's and flies all over the country in a private jet. As soon as he believes in Global Warming, then I will too.

Giving this prize to Agored is like giving the Peace Prize to Jimmy Carter. Jimmy showed the world much love and peace by removing our ally the Shah of Iran from power which then caused a string of crazy allotayahs to run Iran. Thanks to Jimmy, we haven't heard a peep out of that side of the world since then. Things have just been peachy keen peaceful since he did that....

Regardless of what one thinks about the truth or untruth of global warming, doesn't it seem a bit odd that someone would be given the "Peace Prize" for trying to inform the world about global warming? Are we to assume that this means that we are at war with pollution or some such nonsense? I thought the Peace Prize generally went to someone who was attempting to end a conflict or war, not someone who was on a publicity tour for a movie.

According to Nobel's will, the Peace Prize should be awarded "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses."

Say whatever you want, Steve Thomas, but we both know that Gore's movie has nothing whatsoever to do with the reduction of standing armies or the promotion of peace. This is just about celebrating the liberal cause de jure. That is not what Nobel intended.

I have said nothing about the Prize. I don't care about that.

This just in:

Bud Selig has just awarded the 2007 World Series to the Chicago Cubs.

Everyone on the north side of chicago says,"It is well-deserved." (and long overdue.)

The business loans are very useful for guys, which want to start their own organization. In fact, that is very easy to receive a credit loan.
