Fish Dying from Noise

Here is another example of environmentalism gone astray: a bridge being built in California could be delayed another two years and cost a $200 million more. It is an interesting and detailed story, worth a read. Of course, whats another $200 million when the state is already $34.8 billion in the hole.

The title -- "Fish Dying of Noise" -- is a little misleading. Its not hard-to-sleep-over noise were talking about, its so-loud-it-bursts-your-stomach noise.
And theres no evidence this is environmentalism gone astray in the article; if you believe we shouldnt protect endangered species any measures are too much. If you do, its simply a matter of weighing the costs and the benefits.
