Cuba on UN Human Rights Commission
Posted by Peter W. Schramm
Cuba now joins Saudi Arabia, Congo, and other worthies on the United Nations Human Rights Commission. Like the man says, it’s like putting Al Capone in charge of bank security. No other comment necessary.

I spent a few minutes with one of my classes today in discussion about the UN Human Rights Council. The Human Rights Council is a rife with potential bank robbers. Would you let the convicts watch the other criminals? While the US is no complete paragon of virtue, other countries who feel it necessary to point out our offenses bring to mind this quote:
"You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eyes, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brothers eye."
Matthew 7:5
STILL useful advice. Cheers!

Methinks that those in the US who would attack Cuba, Saudi Arabia and the Congo should follow the advice Ms. Williams referenced.
fine...
