Germany’s stagnant economy

Germany’s unemployment is at 12.6%, when Schroder took office in 1998 it was at 10.2%. Good summary of Germany’s problems from the Christian Science Monitor.

Where do the leftists get off criticizing Bushs economy? Even 10.2% is abominable. 12.6% is more than double the highest rate in the United States at any point in the last 5 years.
Why is America so much better off? Because we have less government interference with the market than our neo-socialist counterparts in Europe. Maybe the left-wing intelligentsia and the MSM should talk about that once in a while.
