An Omen of a New Era?

Sad pop culture news: Fox is cancelling "King of the Hill." We’ll miss you, Hank Hill, especially your valuable aphorism: "If Ronald Reagan dyed his hair--and I’m not saying he did--it was just to show his toughness to the Communists."

Better than the Simpsons (sorry, Julie).
D'oh!--Anyway it won't affect me. After we switched to that new digital converter box on our TV (we don't do cable) we no longer get FOX. Oh well . . . more time to read.
The more political KOTH episodes were some of the funnier ones, like the Americans with Disabilities episode and the Title IX episode, featuring this golden nugget of dialog:
HANK: I thought you were busy teaching girls to blow up basketballs. When did this turn into a desire to ruin wrestling?
PEGGY: Oh, give me a break. I don't see how having a girl on the team would ruin it. Did a woman judge ruin the Supreme Court?
HANK: Yes, and that woman's name was Earl Warren.
