Morning Joe

MSNBC has
posted a link to my segment this morning (7 minutes long). Mika and Joe are laughing in the middle about an especially saucy quote I include from Pat Buchanan about homosexuals and AIDS. Joe and Mika were giving him lots of grief during the commercial break.

Steve,
I'm at home with a miserable cold (just got up!), listening to you has eased my pain. Well done. Am reading the book and it is very fine. Congratulations!
Weird show. First time I've ever seen it.
Steve, I have a couple of questions (and bear in mind, I'm still waiting for volume 2 to arrive from Amazon): In the course of researching and writing this book, did you find yourself reevaluating any of your arguments or conclusions from volume 1? Did you uncover anything that you think really needed to be in the first book (as opposed to, "Oh, that would have been nice to include, but it wasn't really essential")? In other words, will there be an Age of Reagan, Revised and Expanded Edition?
No, there isn't likely to be a revised first volume any time soon. The only thing I'd have changed or added is some of the material that has become available since then in the way of Reagan's personal letters and papers from the late 70s that were not available ten years who when I started out. It would have added some rich detail to my account of his years before 1980.
